Carp-busting Project

On Thursday, students from both classes participated in a joint project with Southwest NRM to reduce the population of European and Golden Carp in the local parts of the Wallam Creek. Students had a great time weighing and classifying fish before returning local species to the water. We were also treated to an amazing sight with the electro-fishing boat using an electric current to stun fish which were then brought to shore for classification.
Thanks to Heather Smith from Southwest NRM and Doug Bryant for organising this experience for our students.
