Bollon Heritage Centre
The Bollon Heritage Centre provides historic information for students and the community. Tourists visit the centre to find out more about the history of Bollon and there is a great section about the history of Bollon State School.
Queensland Police Service
Our local, Bollon QPS visit monthly for the Junior Officer of the Month awards. The QPS also visit the school to teach children about road safety and they organise blue light discos and Walk Safely to School days.
Bollon Medical Clinic
Students have the opportunity to experience visits from the local Medical Clinic nurses who come to teach the children about snakes, dangerous animals and what to do if injured. The clinic works with the school during immunisations and health information.
QCWA
Students enjoy visits from the ladies from the QCWA in which they experience craft activities and cooking or story telling.
Ambulance and Fire Brigade
We have visits by the local Ambulance and Fire Brigade so that children can see first hand inside and ask questions.
Bollon Historical Centre
The local Historical Centre has some amazing history of our school. We hope you get the chance to visit and give a gold coin to see all the amazing local history.
